So next up is Ellen Von Unwerth. Immediately you see the similarities between her stuff and Terry Richardson's. It's what I have started calling "snapshot fashion." I love photographing events, parties, the places where the whacked out and wonderful come to play and this is exactly what Ellen does soooooo well. Screw the studio - take it to where it's happening and fashion is truly enjoyed, flaunted and thrown in your face. Pack a big flash and you'll pack a big punch!! This is where fashion becomes what it should be - hot and that's the way it should be shot!
