MY NEW PERFUME!!!

I have been waiting for ages for a new Chanel scent. I was so disappointed when they brought out Bleu for Homme ... only because my brother suddenly had a slammingly great new scent (which I absolutely love on guys) and I was still waiting and hopeful. Too many people have the modern classics like Coco Mademoiselle and I wanted something great. And here it finally is - just out!!

As light and liberating as the modern fabric for which it was named — daringly appropriated from menswear by Coco Chanel for women's fashions — JERSEY is the new fragrance masterpiece from Chanel Master Perfumer Jacques Polge. An inspired composition, JERSEY is evocative of a meadow lush with lavender — an essence previously worn only by men. A tender trail of Vanilla and Musk brings femininity to the forefront, and a rare, sophisticated new scent is born.

More Polaroids ...

I am mad for polaroids and love this book by Helmut Newton. It sums up everything I love about shooting ... It's cool, in parts hardcore, it's instant, it's bold, it's edgy, it's slick and it's stunning.

CARLO MOLLINO

I think this must be an awesome book. A set erotic polaroid images by Carlo Mollino. Virtually impossible to get your hands on for less then $400 - and that's second hand.

However, more in the budget range - this will also be great.

NO SCHMOKING

all rights reserved to Tallulah Bunny

....with the winter season almost upon me, one thing I really want to do this year is not to take up smoking again. I have now been a non smoker for over 6 months but somehow seem to slip back into it when I'm working behind a bar.
Absolutely not this year though
Even if my friend Morgana (above) does make it rock.... it's filthy habit on anyone.

would love some dungarees!

Voodoo - who do? you do?

I think this is funny. There is something just delightfully cool about it and it makes me smile.
Will definitely have one in my apartment.

Cover me in Chanel anyday

I recently started using a bottle of Chanel Cristalle given to me last christmas... and I LOVE it. I haven't used it before because I used to think it was perhaps a tad classic in scent for me. But in the last few months I have come round to thinking that the classical Chanel scents such as Cristalle or No. 5 are actually stunning. Especially the Cristalle because for me there is something slightly 'Homme' about the scent as well, so it's like having Leonardo DiCaprio hovering around you. Not bad really.

My absolute favourite Chanel scent - in fact - favourite perfume ever is Chanel Beige. It is far lesser known then most of the Chanel scents and you used only to be able to buy it in Chanel flagship stores. Even so today it is crazily hard to get your hands on and costs a small fortune. I have taken to sneakily using my mum's from time to time.

***Just as an after thought - I truly think one of the most incredible and romantic gifts a guy can ever give a girl - is a bottle of Chanel. (Boys- avoid Chance or Mademoiselle and opt for a classic instead - you'll blow her mind - that's a promise)***

Apartment dreaming

I am coming to a point where I reckon that in the next year or two I am going to sell up in London and buy my own place somewhere. Who knows - NYC, Berlin, Amsterdam, San Fransico ... or maybe just relocate in London itself. And this folks is exactly what I imagine it will look like: open plan, exposed walls, wood floors, industrial windows and at one end will be my own teeny tiny studio and the other part will have a bedroom and wardrobe come ca!

Bedroom dreaming:

Here's to dreams!

THE COCOON TREE

These brilliant camping balloon type structures have been designed and are being sold by a french friend of mine living in Thailand.
They are great. You can hang them from trees, suspend them, float them or just sit them anywhere you fancy.

Go Chloe!

SOLLEONE

Whilst sailing around the Aeolian Islands last week, on a few occasions this glided past us or we found ourselves sharing overnight anchorages.
It is hands down the most incredible yacht I have ever seen. She is simply stunning and totally blew me away.
She is 90 feet, comes with 4 crew and charters at something around 38,000 euros a week.
I'm seriously considering playing euromillions now.

Aston Martin Rapide.

It's first 4 door and with only 1000 made a year this thing is the ultimate "family" car.
