Sometime ago I saw a photo of a girl with what looked like a white fern tattoo on her stomach. I thought it was so stunning and so delicate looking that I wanted to look into getting one myself. I have since discovered it is actually one of natures little party tricks. The idea is that you place the fern over said body part and slap/hit it hard. Then remove the fern and it's teeny tiny spores are left behind.
I just love the fragility of this and so now am investigating white tattoos.
