I'm not a small dog person at all. But when I was in Paris a great friend of mine and gorgeous Russian girl called Valentina asked Gabbie to take care of her pooch for a long weekend whilst she went away. And so arrived Mischa... and she rocked! 

It was the best weekend of my time in Paris. My brother came to visit - Ross, Gabbie, Tod and I - all spent the evening at Gab's and Ross's apartment (with one of Gab's incredible curries) before heading to the best club I have ever been to in my life - all on flying form and finally drunk and high as little kites we climbed Sacre Coeur to see the sunrise.... 

Photos of Mischa remind me of that weekend!

A friend of mine spotted this in Paris last week. I think it's beautiful.

My Daddy

I was looking for something pretty precious today and amidst my hunting I found a heavy black metal box that was buried under loads of stuff and covered in thick dust. It was locked and I had to ask my dad for the key. That took another hour of searching for the key. But when we eventually got this box open - it was full of old old old photos. For the first time in my life I can now put a face to my Grandmother and Grandfather - (who died before I was born which) is such a cool thing for me. I also found a load of photos of my father, his sister - my auntie Jane and his brother - my uncle Michael - as kids. 

I don't get to see my whole family enough - we are so spread out across this world and it was so nice to find all these shots.

I LOVE this photo of my dad - he is the absolute rock in my life and has seen me through some of the worst times possible and this picture just reminds that in fact he's human - and was a munchkin once too! *Wicked*

"PHONEOGRAPHY"

A&G Gallery are calling it Belgium's First Big Phoneography exhibition and I love it. The threat of this kind of photography to professionals is being felt more and more within the industry. The power of our camera phones has surpassed all conceived expectations I think and the results people are getting have done the same. I personally love my camera apps (downloaded onto my Dad's iphone actually as I still don't have one ... grrrrrrrr) and I love the pictures I get with them.

Perhaps oddly - I truly kind of love how "Phoneography" is making brilliant photographers of us all and it doesn't worry me. In fact it excites me and having yet a new platform from which to build on as a professional can only mean fun times ahead.
